USCDI (United States Core Data for Interoperability)
Definition
A standardized set of health data classes required for nationwide health information exchange. USCDI v3 includes Patient Demographics, Problems, Medications, Allergies, Lab Results, Clinical Notes, and more.
Why It Matters
USCDI defines the minimum data that every healthcare provider must make available to patients electronically. This is what guarantees you can get your records from any hospital in the US.
In Your Records
